I just really like her I know this isn’t niche and everyone really likes her but whatever. And I’d like to believe that when I draw something that is very good and one of one that I too was compelled by some spiritual higher power because it really feels that way sometimes !
One of first abstract artists ever. She was a spiritualist who made her art in a trance-like state, and considered her work to be done not by her, but by spirits *through* her.
Her work has been inspirational to me, especially reconciling my spiritual beliefs with my art practice.
