It's been a year-long journey to be able to do this one, but once I got it, I immediately felt the benefit. So good for your upper back and core especially. I feel like the world is my oyster whenever I do it. NOTE: I've messed up my neck and shoulders very bad doing it in the past, so proper instruction is key!

This position is pretty great for cracking your upper back periodically and if done weekly (holding the pose for ~3+ minutes, possibly in addition to the other stretches depicted) can definitely improve your posture a bit. (N.B. video is kind of a summary/ad for a paid program that's like £45)

Nothing has helped my posture more than this pose. Also, I rarely have back pain anymore after standing for long periods.

This works really well if you have a bad back. I got a basketball injury 4 years ago and recently started doing this everyday. I like the “Happy Baby” pose. Anything knee to chest that decompresses the spine. For years I was doing the Cobra Stretch, which crushes the disks towards the lower back. If you have lower back problems, don’t do this one.

Everybody meet Tomato! (government name: Chloe) She is a very very shy but sweet little lady who is one year old. I already feel like we're kindred spirits because we both take a while to warm to people. She is currently sitting comfortably with the dust bunnies under my bed.
