This song is in my opinion, very overlooked. It's the perfect song for the car. She said she got influenced by Dolly Parton to make this album and I think it shows in this song. Probably my favorite of hers ever.

Girly Pop Nation: rise up
2024 has been an incredible year for pop music. Ngl it’s challenging that Sabrina is so talented and so beautiful- sometimes hard to be happy for her. But the music is so good and she’s so unserious that I can get past it.

The Secret of Us has been, hands-down, my favorite of 2024. Gracie has mastered her unique sound with this sophomore album, which features plenty of bridges you can scream along to, every kind of relationship angst, and a lot of cool girl energy. Maybe it says more about what’s been going on in my life this year that I’ve related so hard to it, but I think there’s something in this album for everyone and I cannot recommend it enough! She just released the deluxe version, so now’s the perfect time to listen if you haven’t already.

During my senior year of high school, I designed a set for a conceptual theatre production of The Sound of Music and made a white model for it in 1/4” scale. I love that model to death. When I look at it, I feel so sure that I‘m on the right career path for me.

I can‘t even begin to explain the dopamine hit I get when I see chimney smoke. Maybe it reminds me that there’s actually people inside, that there are other people living completely different lives that I would never know about? Maybe it’s the aesthetic? It just somehow makes me feel less alone in the world.
