went to a pink floyd tribute concert yesterday (by africa band for my fellow moroccans, they are so good it's crazy) and i may have lost my voice but it was DELICIOUS
I saw this insane show at mercury lounge with friends two years ago w Oasis tribute (SUPERSONIC) and REM tribute (murmur) bands and we still talk about that show all the time - they really sounded like the real deal!!
i saw them last week and it was mind-blowing showmanship teetering performance art. also jorge elbretch joined in on guitar which ruled. thick crazy bass & big vocals - blends 80s sounds of siouxsie and the banshees, yello, and gang of four
