Its about everything, the power of dreams, changes, love and loss, triumph and failure, good and evil and desire. etc.
Its a literary masterpiece thats based on european folklore and you should read it it really is THAT good!!!
also the artwork is amazing

I randomly bought this graphic novel today and I really am obsessed with it. It’s a coming of age story with the most beautiful illustrations ever. I highly recommend checking it out or just checking out Tony Sandoval’s work. I read the whole thing today and it’s my new fave.

he’s an independent comic legend from the 90s and is still active today. most people know his book ”ghostworld” and the film adaptation. i highly recommend reading everything of his. no superheroes, no bullshit, real slice of life, bizzaro stuff, absurdist neo-noir, great commentary and clearly a dude who likes to people watch and then draw the weirdos he sees. huge inspo to me. reading his books and shorts feel like you’re watching a movie, the beautifully drawn and hilarious and full of emotion.

i used to not really like overly optimistic music that much, felt cheesy and juvenile but i started listening and discovering more music and this album makes me so comfortable and happy…. this music makes me feel alive!!
you know life is actually pretty great and porter robinson is here to remind us of that!! and IDC if some songs sound
cheesy or cringy.
the songs mostly switch up between beautiful acoustic songs and heavier edm songs. listening to this album feels how that kid in the cover is feeling probably.

probably the simplest drum beat in a 12 minute song ever, but somehow it keeps ur attention!!! its honestly one of the best tracks of the present century and it gets better with each listen!!! love repetition
