making toast with the butt ends of the loaf

frequently underrated slices, these things get so crispy when you toast them and you can slather them up with butter and it wont leak through cuz it’s got the crust on it. I recommend topping with butter, garlic salt, red pepper flakes, umami seasoning (or msg if you have), and honey

Elaborate breakfast

today I had a spinach and pepper omelette with loads of cheese and franks red hot and coffee with CREAM elaborate breakfasts are the best number one because they make you happy first thing and they remind you to be grateful for the time you have in the morning. this is the first weekend I have off work for like two months I'm so happy :) <3

Waking up to snow

not a very original answer but it happened this year and it makes my inner child go CRAZY. bright light reflected off the snow through your window in early(ish) morning and a bite in the air that can only be soothed with a mocha and warmed muffin is heaven on earth. (ft my partners husky-german-shepard-cross embracing his husky side)
