This app has literally saved my brain for internal crisis. I found it the same day as i found this website and both have helped me elevate my living. I use it as a journal for everything in my life, and it has a cool 'map' that shows how everything in my life is linked to each other. It has helped me unlock deep memories and also process loss and change. it's tight and FREE. not an ad but maybe check it out :)

cleanteeth I was just thinking as I looked at it that it definitely reminds me of my own cognitive mapping and associative thinking… very interesting I am often tormented by the sheer volume of my thoughts and ideas. I’ve started getting kind of into OneNote which is actually deranged and corporate drone pilled of me but it reminds me of Evernote which I loved!

mangle Youtube helped me figure it out, initially. Basically the general idea is that you don't need folders to link anything. You just need to link stuff. Lets say you start a new note "The Beatles" and then you write "The Beatles are a 4 piece 1960s rock band" You can [[ ]] around any word(s) to create a link. Once that link is created you can press it and it will open a new note, titled whatever you [[ ]] and then you have linked The Beatles to lets say 1960s. Now you have a new note where you can talk about the 1960s. The more you write, the more links you'll have. If that makes sense

cleanteeth ahhh okay sounds like I was misusing it not able to figure out the linking part. I'll check the YouTube tutorials out but that explanation does clear it up for me, thank u!!

ok this is not super helpful for your actual question but notion has never worked for me for note taking. eventually i stopped using it just because i feel like the structure does NOT work for good flowy note-taking, instead i just use it to vision board and plan projects what i do love is obsidian - it uses links and backlinks to connect related concepts, and shows them all to you in a graph. it takes a little bit to get a hang of (about a week) but it's really powerful and completely local (all of your notes are saved as markdown files), which also means you can edit and view your notes offline but they're still really easy to share if you want them on your phone and computer. love love love it if you're taking notes online! if you don't like obsidian i'm a big fan of remnote too! remnote saves to the cloud if you also want your notes to be on your other devices, but it lets you make quizlet flashcards/fill in the blank practice problems as you write and you can highlight/bold text using the same keyboard shortcuts as notion ok i did not answer your question at all! hopefully someone has more helpful notion tips

I saw somewhere the other day that in order to better your life, you must create more opportunities for luck to exist. Today i pushed the opportunities of luck, and in return i have met a wide range of cool people. Life is cooooool
- Cut out everything that doesn't bring you joy. - Embrace delayed gratification - Love yourself regardless of anything else going on
