i’m watching a friend’s fish for a few weeks and i gotta say it’s been way more rewarding than i thought it’d be. if ur sad and don’t want a mammal but want something to motivate you to take care of something, get a lil fish
my dad has been practicing this japanese method of fish printing since I was a child and would paint and print various sea creatures (swordfish, shrimp, crabs, an octopus at one point), but since my sister and I have grown up he’s painted less and less. he’s started painting more this past year, and it’s become one of my favorite things to do with him.
there is this website that only at 11:11, you can make a one of a kind fish! my friend group all sends one to our big group chat and we love seeing all the fish we make!
ive been keeping a diary since sixth grade but ive been carrying it around more often to get those creative juices flowing! more art! more junk journaling! more scrapbooking! and possibly poetry!
