this movie knocked the wind out of me. its Sadiq’s first feature yet it never feels lacking as a result of that fact. visually gorgeous and emotionally devastating, the film centers around 3 characters. each of them are struggling under a patriarchy that refuses to make room for them. it completely resonated with me, and i have a feeling it will for you as well.

Sun-rays through large windows

The house I live in was built in the 60s(I think) and it has these big grilled windows which create patterns of the sunlight and I admire them so so much.
