I'm working my way through some of the great literature of the 19th century, which over the last year has included Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Count of Monte Cristo. Ivanhoe, this story of Saxons vs Normans, knights, and high adventure, has been an unexpected pleasure. Next up: Middlmarch

omg I hadn’t read in years and all of a sudden I listened to this audiobook(amazing amazing voice actor) and have been reading ever since-I definitely recommend. /a man wakes up in a spaceship with no memory of how he got there…/ OR The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas if you’re feeling more historical-it’s very long but the revenge/romance/drama is unmatched and it kept me interested

First read of the new year, revisiting Orczy's Dandy-hero. "We must prove to the world that we are all nincompoops."
