I love creating with my thoughts and then translating those thoughts into my life. I think about creating art with any resource, with words, with drawing, with self expression.

And I primarily do it for myself, but hearing that people enjoy things I’ve written is a nice bonus.
I think the act of creation at its base level often stems from a compulsion to externalize and make permanent feelings or ideas that are bouncing around in one’s head because thoughts are so ephemeral like cupping water in your hands, so maybe to create is just pouring it into a glass and looking at it within a contained vessel

I wish I knew for sure, but making anything helps with the static of not knowing who you are or what you’re doing. a peach pie from scratch. An impromptu jam session with aby instrument, even if it’s just your voice. A quick sketch outside. A photograph. A little stupid air clay sculpture. just make things, that’s why we’re here.

Life is so dang busy. When you're on a plane, it's like, "oh, I have no internet and I can't move from this spot from several hours. I guess I am forced to do whatever I want." And then you play video games or read a book or draw or sleep!!! feels to good to be forced to do whatever you want, because I won't allow myself to do it otherwise!!

It's just like... oh! hello creature! how are you!! and it maybe looks at you for a moment before running away or it ignores you or it stops and stares at you for a full minute!!!
like, they're all such innocent babies! i know they kill each other but like... awww none of you know what taxes are you precious little things! you can't tell the difference between a normal word and a hateful slur! you're so darling!!! go back into nature and keep being clueless you sweet little pea!!! so happy for you!
