yessss love caroline’s version of the song!! i’m also surprised so many people don’t know it’s a cover! i had a conversation with someone right after the album came out where they legitimately did not believe that she didn’t write the lyrics because they’re so Caroline-y. the original song is by Roger Doyle for this weird like synth opera.
