Not very cool girl of me but i’ve been meaning to watch the movies since forever and i couldn’t find them anywhere. So i found the audiobooks on spotify and here we are, listening to a grown man do weird voices for nine hours.

I like the version with Andy Serkis as the reader!! He‘s wonderful at every voice, not just Gollum whom he also voiced in the movies. 1.5x speed always.
This is like 3 straight days of listening so you’re covered for every ride of holiday traveling, staying entertained while doing cozy crafts with your hands by the fire (or fireplace ambience on the TV), and long walking journeys in the cold.
Serkis truly the goat for pulling this off. I honestly cannot comprehend how he did it. He‘s got an entirely unique voice for every single character in the book (I think like 132 in total) and performs them all with so much energy and consistency, it fully transports you. The best audiobook I’ve heard.
Puzzles are so underrated man, i used to be obssesed as a kid and i feel like we dont talk about them enough. I’m going to start doing puzzles again. #Bringbackpuzzles
i’m like really exited and dgaf at the same time i hate birthdays. Well now its 10 minuts! This feels like new years. I actually belive new year should be celebrated on your birtday it makes much more sense (like wtf is a year and why does it start on january 1st and not july 17th like?) so its new years for me so happy new year guys!
