This has been my favorite since I was a kid. I don’t remember picking it, it’s just always been IT for me. Everything about this color is so joyful and kind to me. There’s something so smooth and round about it. I want to bathe in it! Both of my bedrooms at my mom’s and dad’s houses growing up were painted yellow at my request. However, I don’t really own any clothes this color, and I think it looks bad on me. I have a ton of yellow things in my apartment though. I have not met many fellow yellow fans, but I’ll always stand by it. Also, Timmy Chalamet wore butter yellow to the Oscars yesterday. He’s my favorite actor and #1 celeb crush, so it was a huge night for me.

butter slime in this color is quite possibly one of the most pleasing sensory experiences

Might be counterintuitive to my dark and gloomy aesthetic, but yellows been IT since I was a kid. Looks great on me, it’s sunny, it’s practically gold, it’s the 3rd color in the rainbow and 3 is the best number. I just feel good in yellow.

i’m ready to have my moment with these colours they’re similar but different, i remember my aunty wearing it in the 90s and it being her fave colour and then yellow kind of fell off and chartreuse just did it’s thing for the better half of this decade. my MIL is a graphic designer and she used it in her work in the 90s and then i was watching “how to lose a guy in 10 days” and the baby duck yellow silk (satin?) dress really awoken something in me so ya. i don't think i’ll pair them together, i’m just thinking about them.

I’m pretty sure i decided yellow was going to be my favorite color on a random tuesday when i was seven. I remember doing this drawing and adding yellow to it and realizing how much better it looked with yellow and how good all the colors looked next to it. But if you made me choose now i wouldn’t be able to pic i love all colors tbh.

I am always so thankful to have a little metal nail file with me wherever I go. I used to be a chronic nail biter. One chipped fingernail would send me into a frenzy, and I would have to nibble away at what was left until the nail felt even. This would inevitably result in me biting the rest of my nails too. I know at least one of you can relate!? Carrying a nail file helps me avoid slipping up and chewing all of my nails to the quick. Sometimes I worry that it’s rude to be like filing away at my nails in public? But I also don’t care and even think it’s kind of sassy.

I personally don’t do this, but I aspire to one day. What is it about getting rid of old underwear that feels so difficult? Maybe it’s my scarcity mindset. I might need them someday!! Or, it could be that I feel quite sad about parting with an object that has worked so hard to protect my most precious bits. How could I throw something away that I have been intimately acquainted with for so long? I’m not sure, but I bet it’s freeing to release yourself from that bond. Definitely let me know how this goes if you ever give it a try!
