It sounds like youā€™re nervous because you feel like youā€™re not good enough or donā€™t know enough. Remember that they brought you on knowing your lack of experience and new-ness to the industry. They know you donā€™t know! So donā€™t be afraid to say you donā€™t know! Go in ready to ask questions and honestly say I donā€™t know what that is or could you explain that. Iā€™m sure people would love to explain a bit more about what they do and maybe begin to see what they do with fresh eyes. They mustā€™ve seen in you a desire to learn and passion for the industry, that got you through the door, and the knowledge will follow. You may not know, but you will learn.

you are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you. they are not doing you a favor, you earned the opportunity to provide value to their org. make them fear losing out on having you as an employee. research the company as much as possible. find details relevant to your role. Be careful with what information you tell them and what you exclude because those will be questions they ask you later. if you get nervous before you go in: breathe in for 4 sec, hold it for 4 sec, and breathe out for 4 sec. good luck

I donā€™t think you need to do anything immediately, your situation sounds v stressful and disregulating though and Iā€™m sorry youā€™re going through it It might be good to slow down and remember all the things you bring to the table. I really believe that self taught knowledge/work experience isnā€™t lesser than knowledge gained in a classroom. I work in a field completely unrelated to my degree because people saw that I was eager to learn and they took a chance on me. You arenā€™t lesser because you have an associateā€™s degree - your path was just different! Donā€™t let your self critic diminish your dopeness šŸ«¶šŸ» There are also so many jobs outside of food/retail !! Trust šŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø

Be yourself ofcā€¦but also there are some things you donā€™t need to revealā€”ambiguity, doubts, for example. I had a few job interviews where I was really honest and said that the position would be a chance for me to ā€˜exploreā€™ XYZ profession when I shouldā€™ve lied and said there was nothing more in the world that I wanted than to have that job and do that work. In other words be enthusiastic and act committed ā€” good luck!

I actually just want to scream and cry and be mad but the silver lining is that i love everyone in my life so much and i wish they really understood how much i mean that and iā€™m crying now looking at the bloody stained mess of a mid-day period.

The Southā„¢ļø woke up to snow this weekend. My inner child was so giddy and excited!!! I havenā€™t experience the magic of snow in so long and itā€™s so nice to be able to experience these things and still feel wonder. Made me tremendously grateful. During my lunch, my boyfriend and I built a snowman. Say hello to ACAB ALI!
