Got turned onto her in a BCNR "What's in my bag" video and find her style, voice and the way that her vocals are recorded really hold up right now with the folk/country moment happening in the music culture.

someone mentioned tia blake on here like a week ago maybe, i’m so glad i actually took the time to listen to her. i never really listen to folk apart from a few tunes from tracy chapman and june mcdoom. i’ve spent all week listening and re-listening and yeah if most other folk albums are anything like this, i can say i’m falling in love with the genre.

My little sister cooked fries and oh man, they were awful. we tried them, looked at each other, and said “let’s hope someone actually finishes it,” because truly, i dont know what she put in them but they were strangely chalky. We were saved by our other sister who miraculously really enjoyed the fries. No idea how, she’s just built like that I guess.
Anyway, even if the food was bad, it was fun to laugh and joke. So 10/10, go accidentally ruin the food in your pantry for the laughs

soooo many songs mean a lot to me, but Wildflower always gets me emotional. It reminds me a lot of who I am—who I was—and what I’ve gone through.
One verse goes “I see her, in the back of my mind, all the time,” and thats’s what growing up feels like to me. I hold who I was, who I’ve been, deep inside me, as I keep walking ahead.
The past may hurt, and I will never get rid of it, but I keep going.
Short story short, it motivates me to move forward!
