morning coffee by alex rockwell is a good resource that gives a handy set of practice routines. definitely add onto it / replace things to keep things fresh but I've found it's a nice fallback when I struggle to think what I should practice

This is my first recommendation and it needs to be. Coffee is the first part of my day, every day unless I'm detoxing, and it anchors other routines like silence and journaling. I lead a writing workshop at a local public library and I realized on average I write about coffee at least once a month.

It's got tons of great underground alt and folk (and a smattering of other genre) music along with new stuff from the artists in those genres that you know and love πŸ’•
