for my birthday the main squeeze got me a sushi preparation kit. i was surprised by this because he said he got it for me so we can make sushi together. but he’s told me before he doesn’t really like sushi or raw fish. when he told me that i was touched; to do something you’re lightly uncomfortable with for your current person is very thoughtful.
all this to say is this week we’re making sushi, and he‘s okayed the following toppers:
sweet rolled egg (tamago)
shrimp (eb)
tofu (inari)
wagyu beef
then im buying tuna to make negitoro
