Modern cameras are marvelous and one of the most beautiful ways to demonstrate something visually. However if you want to not only show something, but capture a feeling and memory, there’s nothing better than the earthly feel of an old camera.

Vintage stills and film cameras are cool, but this kids video camcorder has unironically found its way into my collection of cameras. I’m serious, I actually use this. It’s so fun, the quality has this weird 2000s vibe and feels like one of those millennial home movies.

i bought mine for like 30 bucks on the goodwill auction site. it shoots 480p which is easy to edit and doesn’t require a lot of storage space and it has an aesthetic that i just think is neat. bring it with you everywhere and record interesting things you see or do. when you have enough footage edit it into a video. make it funny, post it unlisted on youtube and send it to your friends to make them laugh.Â

Yeah I know throwback cameras of all kinds are hot right now (regardless of their image quality and often just based on nostalgic vibes) so that we may become untethered from those infernal smartphones but I feel like we need something more real and Authentic so let’s go back to the first photographic process baby…

Seterra is a great way to learn more about world geography and is an incredible pass time.
Whering isn’t exactly on the internet but it‘s an app that lets you shuffle your clothes (outerwear, tops, bottoms, and shoes) to create unique combinations and fit ideas if you’re drawing a blank.
My fridge food is a sick site that shows you a multitude of recipes for items you specifically have in the fridge when you’re running low on ingredients or just don‘t know what to make.
