I watched this film on Netflix a few days after it first came out and I cannot recommend it enough. It takes you on the deeply emotional journey of the scientists behind the development of IVF particularly Jean Purdy as well as the women undergoing the treatment. The film also tackles the reaction of the public to this new found medical treatment with religious people believing it go be playing god and others viewing them as mad scientists. The cast is also phenomenal with Thomasin McKenzie taking on the the main role as well as many other amazing actors I've recognized from other shows and movies. This feminist story of science history is well worth the watch in my opinion.

A documentary film that just shows the complexity of family relationships (particularly mother-daughter relationships) and deals with loss and many other themes. 100% recommend!!

This is my new favourite kind of crochet project. It's great for using up small balls of yarn/scraps and they can be relatively quick projects if you keep them small (the apple one is 17x47, the bow one is 20x20, the swan one is 24x27 stitches) so if you get bored with projects quickly it's a good choice. There are so many different grids you can find I get mine off Pinterest. Since my pieces are very small I think I'm going to sew them all together plus more to create a pillow case, but there are so many other things you can with with this technique like framing them or using this style of colour work in a larger piece like a jumper.

Going to an art gallery is such a fun (and often free) day out. It's a great way to get inspiration of different ways to create from painting to photography and sculptures. One of my favourite parts is reading the description to learn about the people in the historical paintings and piecing them together with my knowledge of that historical time period. It's also a nice calm environment to be in so it's nice to just wonder around and catch up with a friend.

I mean it's just so iconic! The one I have is by collection and I love it so much (I need to wear it more!) I like like wearing black mascara on my top lashes and blue on the bottom I just think it looks so cool. I think it's the perfect makeup product to add to your collection I usually use it when I'm doing fun glittery eye makeup but it also looks really cool as just a little pop of colour. I love coloured mascaras I also have green and purple but the blue is so much brighter and will always be my favourite.
