i think what makes me what to stay for a song is the rhythm and melody but cause i can’t really enjoy a songs lyrics when i don’t like the backing but good lyrics are also appreciated loll also singing voice is pretty important ive noticed i gravitate towards a similar sort of voice for some of my favourite artists which is funny

This is something I love to do. I have no concept of their quality but that doesn’t really matter. They sit in my notes app (or voice memos if I’m feeling Brave). They will never get instrumentation nor will they ever leave my phone, but I don’t mind.

i think when i was younger i would take the time to learn the lyrics to every song i loved and now i just listen to the songs i love a bunch of times and hope for the best. but there is truly something so special about memorising all the words to a song... currently im trying to learn all the words to simulation swarm - big thief! and it’s hard! but rewarding :)
