After I watched a movie alone in the theatre. I craved some cold iced coffee. I went to a nearby stall and then asked for the same. When the vendor gave it to me he didn't really look up and did his work. I had already done the payment online so I saw him the screen just for his reassurance. He just smiled at me and said that he already knew, like showing the screen wasn't needed. I mean it's not something major but yea his smile felt safe.

Lovely, thanks for sharing. I appreciated reading it! There’s something about those little moments and gestures like that. Or the slight smiles, the little upward flicked nod at ya (: This just got me thinking of last week: My Mum and I were checking out at the supermarket at peak hour, they (the conglomerate) only had one register open (they’re trying their very best to not pay as many workers as possible and guide customers to the self checkout) working this poor young woman (not much older than 17 if I had to guess) to the bone. She was super frazzled and apologetic for mis-scanning a few of our items. But my Mum, bless her, a petite lil’ lady in her 70s, took such an effort to reach over to offer a reassuring touch on her arm “no you are doing so well, thank you!” we said “you’ve got nothing to apologise for, you’re all good, you deserve more” and “I’m sorry they’re doing this to you. We could say something with more venom but they’re probably listening hey haha” I don’t know, I hope it stays with her, god knows I needed some of that when I worked in retail *We tried to fling as many smiles and nods her way as we were leaving*

Random day off so I decided to catch an early movie. Yo I love this. All to myself and I’m kinda half awake. Doing it sober lil weird tho. Only other time I did this was seeing C’mon C’mon smacked outta my mind and I cried most of it. Good times.

you don’t have to share popcorn and there’s no one to see you cry. In unrelated news, I saw Dìdi. It was really good and I responded to it with utter grace and dignity.

Okay so I am not sure if it will be available in L.A I feel like it should be it's a pretty big brand in India. It's basically an ayurvedic (indian science) brand they majorly uses naturally occurring substances in their products. I've used their Neem facewash since I was a child and never had pimples. They have other products too. I feel you might like it.
