I always worry that, because Spotify and other companies have donated to or created relationships with politicians, that certain media can be pulled or will pull themselves from their services and not be accessible outside of illegal download or owning the physical media. (Devotion getting pulled from Steam for censorship reasons, now they sell physical copies or through their store directly) Obviously it doesn’t have to be how you base your entire media consumption! But it’s something good to keep in mind that third party companies can take things away

Really important point!! Amazon is going in and changing / censoring their digital books when you borrow/purchase for kindle. Can’t let them censor our art.

I work at three indie record labels and my sole intent is to NOT DO ADS and watch artists and manager SEE that they’ve only had “success” because they’ve been PAYING FOR ADS.

streaming is literally fake. i no longer subscribe (pun intended) to the idea of paying monthly for media that you don't actually own and could literally lose overnight. no more living in fear of greedy streaming oligarchs.

Obvious but difficult You’ll still get to see inspiring new media and support fellow artists while also having a definite amount of time helps to stop potential doom scroll

School sucks obviously, but I miss when simply knowing someone in science class made them a friend. Didnt need deep complex understand in relationships, just needed people to tell me my ideas for new sandwiches were good. Looking back I considered almost everyone I went to school with a friend even if the sentiment wasn’t shared. Adulthood made casual relationships almosy impossible, near strangers can’t be my friend anymore :(
