janelle monae in 2013(?) and she was electric (pun intended)
remi wolf (supported by dora jar) was a great show, very fun, smiled the whole time
caroline polachek, was the last gig the day before the first lockdowns in 2020 and then i caught covid (so did caroline so my headcancon was that i caught it from her) and saw Sophie in the flesh in the crowd
and the best as of recent was tune-yards, one of the most vibrant, high energy shows with one of the most excited and in-the-moment crowds of any gig i've been too - waited 10 years to see them and they did not disappoint
just saw the phenomenal @ (who i really wish i could tag with @@) and @CAMERON-WINTER in philly.
spectacular performances from two incredible acts, but the concert experience was taken to another level from the atmosphere of being in a church
music is sacred and holy
went to my first concert - UMI, when she came around last year. the experience was the best, her voice is so ethereal, superrrr interactive and the meditation time?!?!? what concert has a meditation time like girl.... if you like R&B, i'd def recco checking them out :-)

Not to be basic, but our Chinese household somehow had the DVD (definitely not official) all throughout my childhood and I never dared to play it until I was 12 because the pigs unnerved me so much. Thank god I held off until then - it changed 12 year old Amy's life.
Sometimes I need to hear it to remember that I'm happy, but no one is telling it to me but myself.
Instead of saying that something is delicious, or pretty, or great, or exciting, just say - "Wow, this makes me so happy!"
