its an incredible feeling to be seen and understood especially by newer people in your life

these are some events i’ve been writing down bc they felt good. i’m now realizing half of them are about matcha lol. still a good feeling to have. it’s almost familial and comforting and maternal??? idk now that i read these again these are mostly all about food and drink which i think of rly beautiful bc i think food is love

Loving the same things for a long time

I’ve been talking to my therapist a lot and finding a lot of healing in reminding myself that I’m growing into someone that little me would’ve thought was really cool—especially when it feels hard to like myself Listening to the same music, loving the same movies, loving to read, changing up my look, loving clothes, loving animals. i was on stage with stevie wonder when i was 6

one of my cousins plays the saxophone and was in prince, michael jackson, michael jordan’s (???) and many more bands and so naturally he has some crazy connections. when he got married he had stevie wonder come perform a private show and i was one of the flower girls and he had us come up on stage and obviously at the time i didn’t know i was standing and dancing so close to a legend but when i gained pop culture consciousness i understood. this is my go to for two truths and a lie bc it is so silly. according to my parents he said i was beautiful (??? he’s blind) and i wish i could find that photo album but for now you’ll just have to believe me lol
