I didn’t realize people don’t like this book but I enjoyed it a lot (I can’t read long books), fiction, ww2, comic book publishing origination, the practice of being a magician, family, love, art
Going two for two here. I liked Little Brother because it was 1. set in my hometown but also because it was really palpable intrigue and didn’t seem demeaning at all with its politics and intrigue to a kid/young adult. new album by moreish idols out today, first heard about these guys with their song nocturnal creatures on their 2023 ep and was instantly hooked, rock and jazz grooves with an overall lush sound and varying harmonious and spoken word vocal performances
