this is one of my favorite movies and certainly one of my favorite rom coms! Cher, Nicolas Cage, Italians in New York falling in love and gossiping. it’s beautiful, so deeply funny, incredible score.

My fav Moonstruck factoid is that Cher threatened to quit when the studio tried to cast someone else as Ronny. She said that only Nicholas Cage could yell “bring me the big knife” the right way

A very cheery romcom with a messy, subtly dark sense of humor and pure Italian-American excellence. Not sure there's been a more perfectly matched screen couple in terms of strangeness of acting style and beauty than Nicolas Cage and Cher are here. That's Amore!
