My ass got hit with a bad case of laryngitis (or tonsillitis???) and rn I'm feeling miserable. BUT one thing that's def been helping with the dry throat has been the Ricola Caramel throat balm drops (AKA: "Ricola Caramel with Liquid Center Throat Balm Drops"). It's great bc it's non-drying and also it tastes delicious bc it has honey in the center.
NOTE: If you've got a dry cough you DON'T want to use cough drops with menthol bc it dries you out even more; these cough drops have pectin as their active ingredient, which acts as an oral demulcent to create a film over the mucus membrane in your throat to help w/any irritation.
*Obviously it's not gonna miraculously heal you but it's good for momentary relief

If you like going to the movies and have a selection of AMCs near you it’s an unbelievably good deal. Even at my most destitute I have refused to cancel this membership because it’s basically a free activity anytime and a fun little date with myself. 3 movies a week for $25/month??? I will never shut up about this.

i live laugh love going to the movies, and having my regal unlimited membership makes it sooooo much more financially feasible! plus i love rewatching movies and being able to see an unlimited amount of movies for a flat rate a month is so unbelievably worth it to me. if i had an amc near me i would be an amc a-lister for sureeee! we gotta keep movie theaters alive it's like one of my favorite places <3

I have to disagree with the people who say that we need to “stay” and “fight“ for IG to be a better platform because in actuality, it’s our presence and engagement that gives them data, and therefore money. As long as they have those 2 things, they make their bottom line and won’t really care about its users desires unless they’re making a move for the optics.
If we REALLY want to hold them accountable, we need to impact the money they make, which means permanently deleting or marking your account as inactive & never coming back. They’ll only care if they’re bleeding money— so make them bleed.

As someone who has terrible object permanence and can NEVER remember the existence of something if I can't see it (this includes objects AND goals), it was quite literally the best way to keep awareness of my long term goals, even when life started falling apart and getting hectic.
At the end of the year I always look at my vision board and realize that I genuinely fulfilled a good majority of the goals on there, and it's so sweet
Always keep your eyes on the prize yall and always dare to dream !!!

Now more than ever we gotta show up for the causes we care about!!! Online reposting and presence is good but it doesn't get the full job done unless we show up and show out!!!! Show up to your city/town hall meetings and be an active participant if you are able, bc if we don't speak IRL we don't exist
