it brings me so much joy to make something tasty for a person i love. i also really love that line from 'the bear' - about how special moments always happen around food; i feel this is true, and i think food itself makes every moment a bit more special.
whether it‘s in their kitchen or giving them something you’ve spent time on for days, I’ve found that cooking represents not only an act of intent, but an act of love and connection. the act itself is an effort in the 21st century, intent makes it even more worthwhile
