Criminally underknown movie, with one of the craziest car chase scenes ever recorded. I’ve felt solidly heterosexual my entire life, but Willem Dafoe as a kimono wearing Contemporary artist slash crime lord briefly made me question myself
Recently re-watched this one at the film archive. Lots of funny moments and zany action sequences, including characters that summon flying swords by playing a musical instrument. A very enjoyable, well-made movie.
