omg wait I’ve been meaning to build a film poster collection for ages but didn’t feel like forking out the money… texting my local art house cinema asap
Brought home the Brutalist poster from work and my housemates got SUPER excited. Which was good bc it was either the Brutalist or the Whale poster in my living room. And I'd rather not start my day by eating breakfast and looking at Brandon Fraser's crying face
Whoaaa I did not know that was possible! I have the flyer style posters from Y the Last Man (picked up at a comicbook store) + Pleasure (from when the director + cast did a live QA). I like to use them for book covers. (Free advertising for them. Free privacy for me.)
I know it’s probably better for the environment that movie tickets aren’t printed but damn I love a physical copy of my ticket. Get home, put it in a little box, look back on it a few months later and be like yeah that was a great movie.
As a kid, I would keep the ticket stubs for movies i saw in my sock drawer as mementos. I still love going to the theater, but confirmation emails just don't hit the same
