One of the few documentaries that actually depicts the creative process, the dull churn and moments of inspiration. I leave most music documentaries unsatisfied, even if they're fun to watch. Get Back, however, shows exactly the kind of stuff that is interesting to me.
sorry I know itโs cringe but I love the 8 hour Peter Jackson *** documentary get back . I watched it over a Xmas with my family and we all adored it . actually just a really beautiful series about a group of young guys outgrowing each other. Highlights are : Georgeโs outfits, Paul introducing Linda McCartney as A โcameramanโ, silent footage of yoko Ono and Linda chatting , billy Preston arriving and changing the game. Maybe itโs because i love the Beatles, maybe itโs cuz Paul McCartney looks like my dad, maybe itโs the ridiculously lovely colour grade but โฆ get back 4EVR!!!!

Bill is a national treasure, he's written so many life-affirmingly great songs. Very nice to hear him and his band stretch out and cut loose on this new live album.
Perfect morning album, beautiful, upbeat, and somewhat sparse. The way that the first few songs flow together is really nice. I think you should just put it on the next time that you're looking for something chill to listen to.
Let me have this moment to vent:
1. Men's shorts should be shorter and shirts should be less buttoned.
2. Also the mass consumption of Sambas is cooked, we are moving on and not being tricked into buying another color way.
3. If you use speakerphone in public we should be allowed to hit you / throw things at you.
4. Coffee shops should have an express line for black coffee drinkers; I am not ok with standing being you as you order your quad-shot-vanilla-matcha-oat-milk-latte thing.
5. Cybertruck owners are overcompensating for something and are definitely emotionally unavailable dads.
6. In 2024 we match the energy - you want to give me dry one worded text answers? Yeah? Game on.
7. Give the Republicans a better graphic designer. I hate the MAGA crew but I could make their stuff look good.
8. We are no longer fluffing people for their work; if it's bad do not lie to them and say it's good just walk away quickly. They'll know.
9. Baby Miller High Life's are the drinks of the summer, like the tiny 8 oz ones.
10. Back to the express lanes - sidewalk lanes. Please stay in the right lane unless you're on mission and trying to get somewhere.
