The trick is to salt the sandwich, add a little mayo, and squeeze a slice of lemon into your Diet Coke. Even the most busted of dives canβt thwart this combo.
Hands down, one of the funniest and oddly touching collections I have ever read. The titular story is one I think about often and recommend frequently.
