If you convince yourself you can pull off a pair of 80s women’s Adidas track pants from Russia and they turn out to be unsurprisingly tight on the crotch and too short, but no one knows about it, did it ever happen? In the best case scenario, you can trade ill-fitting jawns and find great harmony and satisfaction when the other person pulls them off flawlessly. There’s no reason to keep your failures between you and mirror. Share them with a friend.

Was chatting about shoes with a dear friend and she mentioned she bought some that she doesn’t fit and that I should have them. Am now in possession of not one but TWO pairs of perfect boots. Have to plan a really nice thing to even the score. But there is no greater joy than being gifted or gifting a wardrobe item — for a while I had a rule that if a friend borrowed something and they were really feeling themselves in it they should just keep it. Then I get to see them look hot and happy AND I get to see it styled in new fun ways. I love clothes and shoes and friendships

If you have a car (I don’t anymore— mine got stolen a few weeks ago), save a parking ticket and put it on your windshield when you want to park illegally. in my experience, it worked about 80% of the time :)
side note: there was no decoy parking ticket on the windshield when my car got stolen...

99% sure he's already come up on PI at some point but I was re-listening to some classics this morning and its some of the most inventive, timeless and funny shit out there. Ive probably only listened to a tiny fraction of his catalogue but this one called Flipwild is a great place to start

it’s Nora Ephron & Mike Nichols and it is a damn near perfect movie from start to finish. it’s a pretty heartfelt and complex labor and love story, but it’s also very funny and stylish and it might make you cry and then go on ebay and see if you can find the movie poster
hard to find online but you know, search watch online free and persist. maybe use reddit too…I think that’s how I found a link that worked
