This is my favorite album of 2021 and there was A LOT of good music released this year IMO. Literally every song is a banger. Stallions and Dummo Loop are probs two of the best songs I have ever heard but literally all of them are good. There really hasnāt been a day thatās gone by where I havenāt listened to at least one of the tracks on this record since it was released. Iām lucky to know and call the three that make up this boyband my friends and am grateful I have gotten to experience some of the most demented (in the fun way) times of my life with them in the past few years (eZoo, holy shipwrecked in the DR, 2 weeks straight of shows without stopping, etc). For real tho, I just finished a small east coast tour with them and my other fave boy band,Ā AnamanaguchiĀ (who's albumĀ [USA]Ā (2019)Ā is also very much worth checking out) in October and the energy they brought every day and night to the van and the stage was inspiring and exciting. If u ever have the chance to see them do a live set or a DJ set I highly recommend u go. Iām a huuuge wavedash stan and u should be too!

found out about this one from my twitter oomfs when it released a few weeks back and ive been OBSESSED. super catchy cathartic uk emo, every song on this ep is an absolute banger. the riffs are awesome, the drums are powerful, the harmonies are huge, just lovelovelovelovelove. almost like an angsty, anthemic algernon cadwallader. super duper jealous theyāre across the atlantic but as soon as they find their way to the states i will be doing everything in my power to see them. HIGHLY recommend, t_failz EOTY.

Iāve liked their music ever since āPictures of Girlsā, so I decided to check out their new album. This was definitely the standout track to me, and Iāve had it on repeat this entire week. So stoked to see them live later this year.

Major highlight of this year was my introduction to Holidaysā in a crowded and sweaty bar basement for their single release party. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I listened to this album on the walk/ride home and then nonstop for a few weeks. Anyone who says that the NYC music scene is stagnant blah blah.. Iām staring them down, super-OH. YOU DONāT KNOW? *points to the Holidays sign*. Their self-titled debut record is one of the strongest of the year, start to finish so incredible. Emo in the truest sense. 1v1, Time Breaks Down, and Dog Song ended up as some of my 2024 absolute favorite tunes.

Iāve been hooking up w a train driver for the MTA for a little bit and there are some major perks. I get train derailment alerts before the general public and other insider info (did u know the fastest subway goes 63 mph?). He owns a home, has kids and has no idea what dimes Sq is. He has to wake up and go to work and has been for over a decade. Also asked me what a āstoryā was (he doesnāt have insta and never has). So hot!
