I like to entertain myself and one thing that has made me laugh is saying things like “sorry i am so effing late, I couldn’t find where the eff my keys were.” The nostalgia factor is so special and it just sounds a little silly. For extra laughs sometimes, I like to precede or follow with the disclaimer that “I am trying to curse less” because "curse" is a funny word too and the statement is blatently not true.

As an urban planner, I love maps. And, as someone casually fascinated by language/linguistic geography and sociolinguistics this is so interesting to me! I come back all the time as I’m exploring new neighborhoods. Done by the good people at the Endangered Language Alliance.

This long-form video from an anonymous Irish sculptor that gets progressively more brilliant and unpredictable. I think it was my favorite thing I came across online in all of last year which is maybe revealing too much about myself.
