I'm the existential "it'll all fall into place" type and I find it becomes fuel for my fear of rejection...my "if it was supposed to happen, it would have" philosophy can only take me so far if I'm not putting myself out there.
I'm still intimidated by the apps, but am trying to be more intentional with my communication/connections IRL if I'm not gonna make the digital leap. My brothers in a happy/healthy relationship that blossomed from hinge though so ik it's possible
