listen to me. LISTEN TO ME. grab one big orange and you can enjoy it in three lovely ways. (low effort high reward) 1. eat the orange - peel the skin off and eat! delicious! 2. using the other half of the orange, dump it in a pot with water that submerges it and then boil with (optional) apple slices, dried dates and goji berries 3. remember the half orange you ate ??? save the skin, cut into strips and then air dry/bake it till dry. now you can eat it directly (smells good on your breath) or add hot water and brew it into tea live happily 🐈

place the wedge into your mouth... place your teeth inbetween peel and flesh... bite down to separate the edible and not-as-edible... turn your smile into an orange peel-y one... remove the now (mostly) clean peel from your now orange-flesh filled mouth... clean up if necessary

Nothing does it like taking a nice sharp knife to an orange and slicing it into segments, and then cutting off the skin and white pithy bits, so you’re just left with a plate full of juicy orange. tastes so fresh and feels like it does something good mmm!

the think more category : obviously self reflection (if a journal doesn't work for you notes app or even voice memos are okay! there are a lotta good prompts online or you can just talk about anything that's on your mind...listen 24hours to whatever time later and normally you can pick out what's bothering you and what the best course of action would be..) i find reading helps a lot! there's always some literary character that's worse (lol) or you can relate to...also it's easier i think to be less "mean" when you find yourself relating to fictional people...then you can cross-apply those feelings to real situations and whatnot! talk to more people! you can start small with good mornings with strangers and just making small talk and i find that takes up time + keeps you grounded with hopefully clearer judgement...also then you have more people to turn to for help whenever you're having difficulty stopping yourself from doing something bad.. the think less category : okay i know everyone says this and i'm sorry but if you do spend copious amounts of time on social media..try cutting it down! it could be small changes from switching from one app to another (ex : tiktok/reels to twitter is somewhat a win because then at least it's curated text over algorithmic videos...instagram to vsco is another win because there's a lot less ads and an audience!) social media also has, like, insanely high standards and i really do think how we see ourselves...like the way...is influenced by that. most people are flawed! by posting this you're already showing a self awareness that's more reflective and kind to yourself + others than a lot of other people! xx manual activity : sounding like a middle aged person now but i swear doing something with your hands really makes your brain go blank in a good way!! and gives yourself space to unconsciously process things! i personally like cooking (the chopping motions are so satisfying) and you get something to eat at the end of it too <3 just. fun or somewhat appealing labor also with the things you've mentioned i think generally, self love is a wonderful thing to have. you deserve to live a happy and healthy life and i do hope that happens! (sorry if this isn't the best advice...i tried to shy away from typical things you might have already seen like getting counselling (which!! if you can!! wonderful!!) and what has personally worked for me too :) wishing u the best!!
