"A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction".
Although she has written a plethora of books, reading a room of one's own is magical. disclaimer ⚠️ it is an extended essay based on her lectures in 1930's but it open ur mind to so many things and wonderfully written!
an early woolf, easier to read than her later stream-of-consciousness writing (i'm working my way up!), with intriguing themes of love, marriage, family, expectations... all of the characters feel very distinct and i'm enjoying this one a lot! :-)
