what happened to yearning? I’m sending my love letters with lipstick kisses. I’m sending recipes and teas I think he’d like, a polaroid of my ass.

Hellooo what happened to romance?? Let me tell you something, if you write someone an honest and sincere love letter they will neverrrr forget you. Pour your heart out on a piece of paper or a lengthy email if your handwriting is bad. The only thing better than writing a love letter is receiving one and guess what if you never send them you might never get any ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

writing physical letters to your friends or lovers is SUCH a slay,,,,, you can draw on them, glue shit on them, put stickers on them, whatever you want. I received a letter recently and it was the best thing that happened to me all week, I read it over and over and pinned it to my bedroom wall. Can’t do that with a text, at least I can’t because I don’t have a printer…

One of the easiest and most fulfilling paths to joy when you live alone in your 20s is to invite over your friends for a dumpling dinner party 1. prep the filling right before friends arrive (pork, napa cabbage, scallions) 2. gather around a large table with dumpling wrappers, little saucers of water, and parchment-lined baking sheets 3. share what's on your mind, who you've been seeing, what you've been reading, etc. while you fold dumplings into crescent moons 4. cook dumplings (boil, steam, pan-fry) and serve with black vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil 5. rejoice over warm bellies and precious human connection
