Heavy thoughts and emotions have the habit of coming up whenever I am getting ready to sleep. I find that writing them down in my diary helps clearing up my mental space and I usually feel relieved afterwards. I try to keep my diary or any journal by my bed at all times, but whenever I donβt have anything to physically write down my thoughts I just use my notes app. Writing obviously isnβt the same as talking to someone, but sometimes it feels like confiding in a friend.
