a lost art. when i was i school this was the only way i could retain anything. even when i write personal essays and stuff now, i feel like i understand the subject matter better when i take time to hand write key points and notes. also i just love the chicness of a notebook and pen.
as always, moderation is key β but you can learn a lot from a bad book. Pacing, structure, character, dialogue... Just make sure you have a chaser, even if itβs something youβve read a million times.
