this is the best breakfast for when you a) feel a bit off or b) want some comfort:
- mix a bowlful of rolled oats with sultanas and finely chopped dried peaches/apricots/pear/whatever takes your fancy...
- soak in boiling water (i'm a milk avoidant)
- top with grated apple and cinnamon or honey
This isn't revolutionary but it completely transforms your morning from, "I can't believe this is happening," to "Mornings bring such hope." Makes you feel like a lil bear in a cottage. Raspberry, boysenberry, fig--anything goes.
this is my favourite party trick. i like to make them out of old bus tickets and receipts. i was at a rave the other day and i made one out of a tiny square of rizla card (pictured) and everyone loved it. bonus points if you can get the wings to flap when u pull the tail
