officially two months no cigarette, no cravings! unless i am feeling like self sabotage— and then i just give myself a treat! i am treat motivated, and honestly, you probably are too. treats are subjective. some of my treats are: - long hot shower - wank to Type O Negative (October Rust full album) - ice soy vanilla latte - new eBay purchase - healing my inner child - changing my desk top background - peruse interior design (mostly tiled bathrooms) - long talks with friends about our dreams and fears just to name a few :)

When I have to do difficult things, I reward myself with a treat afterwards. (i.e "I have a doctor's appointment but at least I get ice cream afterwards!") Obviously, a treat can also be free. (Reading a chapter from a book you like, taking a walk, chatting with a friend, listening to music, etc.) You can also plan out your outfit the day before. "Everyone is going to be soooooo jealous when I show up in this fit." Depends on if you like clothes like that or not.

I prefer venison or bison as opposed to beef because I believe red meat makes my brain function better (as someone who has various mineral deficiencies) but I don’t want to eat beef because I’m tired of it. I also am allergic to cow dairy so I wonder if there is something to be said for taking an all around break from cows. This week, I made a venison and oyster-mushroom curry with smoked cardamon rice, sheep’s milk raita, and cilantro sprouts ♥️

recently I haven't really had time to read a book from back to front, but I like reading and it makes me feel AND look smart. plus then if my phone dies or I don't want everyone to see how cracked my screen is, I can just start at any point in the book. recently it has been "The Birth of Tragedy" by Nietzsche, which I originally read during my post-grad but now enjoy reading more like a self help book. here is another example of me doing this:
