im gna try not to self promo but i strongly believe toronto is one of the best food cities in the world and no one ever gives it a shot. ive got guides and accounts dedicated to it and ill always be thankful coming home because i know a good meal awaits.
i love this city man. always a pleasure to be here as the incredibly limiting aspects of my hometown, winnipeg, definitely are solved and recognized here.
ok I do like toronto but my husband is obsessed with montreal and it feels the closest you can get to europe in the US while toronto felt like a cleaner more boring NYC. both have good food and fun things to do but montreal would be my pick! we were supposed to go there for my birthday/to get engaged a couple years ago but i showed up to the airport with my passport card NOT my passport so we didn’t get to go lmaooo still had a wonderful bday/engagement but im desperate to get to montreal someday and my husband hugely recommends it!!
doing my readings and every time i just come back and think about this essay. probably one of the few things in my entire undergrad that stuck out to me.
