Best thing about moving back home is using all my mum's kitchen tools. This is current fave juice to have just after breakfast:
2 cooked beetroots (in natural juices)
2 carrots
Good hunk of ginger (about 3cm)
1 royal gala apple
2 big oranges (peeled)
Half a small lemon
I am barely saving any money buying beets / cerely / carrots and juicing them myself in a $120 breville but having fresh juice at home is elite. I have enjoyed experimenting with different apple varietals to decide which one is best for juicing; so far honey gold (green) is the top contender.
There's something really unique about this film. It is both a philosophical tale and an eerie exploration of time and grief. It's beautiful, sad and mysterious, but also set amongst Italian cats. Watch it!
