Melting wax that smells like burning wood. 🕯️ Really delivers in late August when you’re jonesing for that comfy-cozy winter feeling but do not want melting wax that smells like spices (e.g., cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin).

Among other things. Smell is such an important part of having a comfortable home to me. You don’t want to overdo it obviously and have your place smelling like a high school kid sprayed an entire can of Axe inside but a little fragrance absolutely makes a difference and improves your mood. Bonus having seasonal scents, now with colder coming on I like earthy, woodsy, smoky, leathery even scents. One of my favorites for the season in the link, Kobo Modena Leather.

I mean those scents are classic winger/Christmas right? The Smell of the pine tree you dragged into your living room (or the artificial scent sticks you hung in your plastic tree, which is better for the environment), and the heavier, huskies scent of basalt that you can't help but find candles of . . . And my childhood classic of a Terry's Chocolate Orange in my stocking! But I'm a big girl now and I can put them in a stocking, on my dresser, tucked away in a drawer for a pleasant surprise a month from now . . . ! Honorable mentions go to: Cinnamon brooms, the smell of hot chocolate (but not the taste, I prefer my chocolate solid), the smell of heat blowing into your room from the vents, and the smell of burning leaves.
