As a phrase, overdone. As an observation, tends to discourage action. Be gone.

can we come up with a new way to say something was wholly unexpected/beyond the imagination? i’ve listed my reasons below: 1. you can basically say this phrase about anything to the point that it’s no longer funny or relatable. it’s rather stale and no longer invokes the feelings of surprise or shock — it’s as tacit as saying “oh that’s random”. 2. re:stale— we* have been saying this for 5+ years**, which is basically 400 years internet-wise. we need smth new. 3. unless you actually made a bingo card for the year, idt this phrase should be uttered. if you did make a bingo card, love that for you, and i‘d like to see it. 4. it’s just annoying to me idk. it gives millennial “but first, coffee” vibes. i don’t have a replacement suggestion— i’m just complaining. pls comment alternative ideas for this phrase if u have any. thanks for coming to my ted ta— *gunshot* *y’all **i personally stopped saying this in 2021, but i kinda thought we’d have smth new by now. perhaps i should’ve been the change that i wanted to see in this world.

Fricelli! Capricci! Ditalini! Delight in the dozens (hundreds?) of ways humans have rolled out and reshaped dough. Is there a poster of pastas you can color in every time you try a new shape? Should be.

Melting wax that smells like burning wood. 🕯️ Really delivers in late August when you’re jonesing for that comfy-cozy winter feeling but do not want melting wax that smells like spices (e.g., cinnamon, ginger, pumpkin).
