On Saturday mornings I go to a little cafe that, importantly, does not serve brunch. Just very good bread, very good sandwiches and some baked things. I get a flat white coffee β theirs is silky and rich and the best one in Auckland (I usually drink black coffee so this is a weekend treat) β and a cookie, and sit outside and watch people crossing the intersection.
Weekday mornings I like buying a good croissant and eating it on the walk β or, for a treat, saunter or dawdle β to work out of the paper bag.
