like passenger princess but where u sleep on ur friend’s couch/air mattress for days in a row, and in exchange for the hospitality, let the dog out, unload the dish washer, and most importantly put the streaming services to good use. different from house sitting bcus they come home from work every night and u get to walk to the grocery store and then make dinner and catch up together

If you have a couch, someone can stay there for a while, even a week or two… if you choose well, you can cook and play house with them and they’ll do dishes :—)

couch hopping at your friend’s sharehouse

If three of your friends live in a house or unit together consider couch hopping there if you need to. I haven’t got to see my friends for like a month and now I get to sleep in their lounge room! I got to watch my best friend play Batman Arkham City last night which is so amazing because I love catwoman.

Make friends with people who have pets that might need to be watched while they are on vacation!!

I LOVE house sitting/pet sitting. It’s so fun to go stay at someone’s house/apartment for a couple of days and pretend that its yours. and nice to have a change in routine and a little vacation in the town you already live in! It feels good to be the one people think of when they need some help while they are away :)
